Postlens does not set any tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. This page describes the limited storage we do use, why, and how to clear it.

Analytics

Site usage is measured with Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and aggregates data without identifying individuals. No consent banner is shown because no consent is required under UK GDPR / PECR for this configuration.

Local storage on your device

• Theme preference (light / dark / system) — stored in your browser’s localStorage only; never sent to the server.
• Recent postcodes, if shown — stored inlocalStorage only.

Third-party storage

Map tiles are served by MapTiler. MapTiler may set technical cookies as part of serving tiles to your browser. See MapTiler’s privacy policy.

Clearing storage

You can clear local storage at any time via your browser’s site-data controls (e.g. Settings → Privacy → Site data). Doing so resets your theme preference; no other Postlens functionality depends on it.

Changes

If we ever introduce tracking or analytics cookies, this page will be updated and a consent banner will be shown before any such cookie is set.
